Practice
Floor, partial, and suspension
Workshops can include floor-based rope, partial suspension, and full suspension. Partial or full suspension must be agreed in advance after reviewing and verifying the participants’ skill level, experience, goals, equipment, and proposed venue. The final scope remains subject to an on-the-day assessment.
Venue
Dubai, your space, or international
Sessions are normally held at the Rope Rituals venue. A suitable client venue may be approved depending on the group size and workshop content. International travel is available for full-day or multi-day workshops. The client covers all agreed travel, accommodation, local transport, and related delivery costs, paid when travel is booked.

Are workshops suitable for complete beginners?+
Yes. Workshop content is tailored to the experience, roles, and goals of each participating pair.
Do participants need to bring their own rope and safety equipment?+
Yes. Bring suitable rope and safety equipment, or purchase what you need from Rope Rituals before the workshop.
What should participants wear?+
Wear anything comfortable that allows unrestricted movement. Gym wear, yoga wear, lingerie, or other clothing of your choice may be suitable.
Are workshops private and confidential?+
Yes. Participant identities, communications, workshop details, and information shared with Rope Rituals are treated as confidential.
Are photographs or recordings permitted?+
Only with prior permission from Rope Rituals and every person who may appear or be identifiable.
Can accessibility needs or physical limitations be accommodated?+
Potentially. Tell us during your enquiry so we can discuss any preparations or adjustments before confirming the workshop.
Can you travel for a private workshop?+
Yes. International travel may be arranged for full-day or multi-day workshops. The client covers all agreed travel, accommodation, local transport, and related delivery costs, which are paid when the travel arrangements are booked.
What are the payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms?+
A 50% deposit confirms the workshop, with the balance due at least 24 hours before it begins. The deposit is refundable when cancellation is made more than 72 hours before the agreed start time. Rescheduling is available only when requested more than 72 hours in advance.
Do ten-session packages expire, and can they be transferred or shared?+
Packages are valid for one year and are non-refundable. A complete unused package may be transferred or purchased as a gift. Missed sessions are treated as used unless rescheduled more than 72 hours in advance.
What happens if participants arrive late?+
There is a 15-minute grace period, but the workshop still ends at the originally agreed time.
What happens if Rope Rituals cancels?+
You may choose a full refund or reschedule the workshop.
Is sobriety required?+
Yes. All participants must arrive sober and remain free from alcohol or other impairing substances during the workshop.

Looking to get tied?
Private Shibari sessions are available for individuals who would like to experience being tied rather than learn with a partner. Each enquiry is considered individually, with boundaries, suitability, and practical arrangements discussed before a session is agreed.
Private Shibari sessions start from AED 1,100.
